TITLE: Code Breaking in WW II with Alan Turing

Abstract

During the Second World War the Germans used state-of-the-art enciphering systems; nevertheless we broke those systems and thus obtained a huge intelligence advantage. The speaker will reminisce over his experience as a cryptanalyst during that period, including his friendship and collaboration with Alan Turing.
