TITLE: The WZ method for combinatorial identities

Abstract

The WZ (Wilf-Zeilberger) method is a very efficient way of finding proofs of binomial or hypergeometric identities. But there is much more to it than that. I will talk about two interesting aspects of the WZ method: a combinatorial interpretation, and how the WZ method can be used to unify identities in a way that is more general than the traditional hypergeometric classification.
