Semiunique Representation of Some Biased-Graphic Matroids

Abstract for the Combinatorics and Number Theory Seminar
2003 January 27

In a biased-graphic matroid the points all lie on a small number of lines; they are rather like frameworks. When such an abstract matroid in which the lines are not too small is represented by vectors (or projective points), the representation necessarily has a form that is easy to describe.
